You need Vitamin D to absorb Calcium


Many people try to drink milk or take calcium fortified supplements, but if you do not get any vitamin D, then your body will not be able to absorb that calcium efficiently. The easiest way to get enough Vitamin D is to get outside in the sun! Get outside in the sun at least 30 minutes per day to get some Vitamin D each day. If you don't want any tan at all, then take a Vitamin D3 supplement to help you absorb all the calcium in your diet.
